The Eco Adventure offers online educational games about the environment with the aim of

  • educating young people about eco-responsible behavior, and 
  • teaching children to take care of their planet.

The first game, in free demo on this page, is about waste sorting.

Throughout the game, you will meet animals and waste.

Each animal represents a family of waste, to which you will have to give the right waste.

I didn't name them, but you can do it.

In the demo: You will play with Raccoon and Earthworm:

Did you know that the Raccoon is called the garbage panda? 

When I lived in Louisiana, I met several of them when I was dropping off my garbage. They were digging in the garbage to feed themselves.

As you should have understood, you will give Raccoon all the non recyclable waste.

You will use the mouse to drag the card.

I also introduce you to Earthworm:

If you already have a compost at home, or have opened a compost container, you know that there are plenty of earthworms.

To Earthworm, you will give all your organic, compostable waste.

In addition to these two animals, you will meet 7 others, the Pelican for glass, the Eagle for metal, the Beaver for paper/cardboard, the Water Turtle for plastic, the Bison for bulky waste, the Alligator for hazardous waste and the Butterfly who will be there to help you if needed.

There is a second game in which you will use what you just learned in the first game:

You choose a character.

You move with the mouse and you have to catch the garbage that falls from the sky, but be careful you only catch your own and you have 3 lives!
